FAQ
-
Is IBE the same thing as Hand-tied Extensions?Hand-tied' extensions refer to a type of extension hair used in various bead-and-sew application methods, including IBE. We also offer wefts called 'genius' or 'micro,' which are slightly more durable yet equally gentle. Some might even find them more comfortable than hand-tied extensions.
-
How much will it cost to get IBE® installed?IBE® pricing is tailored to each individual, taking into account factors such as desired length and thickness, color requirements, and overall goals. While we provide general pricing on our service menu, a consultation is essential to determine the best approach for you. To get started, please submit an IBE® Consultation Form or book a consultation with one of our certified stylists!
-
How often do I need to come in for maintenance? We recommend scheduling your first follow-up appointment within 7 to 8 weeks. During this visit, your stylist will assess your hair's growth and determine if you can extend the time between appointments. At each reinstall appointment, your stylist will remove your extensions, evaluate and make necessary adjustments, and then reinstall the extensions. On average, guests have their rows reinstalled every 8 to 10 weeks.
-
How often do I need to buy new hair?We use very high-quality hair that will last you between 9-12 months with proper care.
-
Will IBE damage my natural hair? No, IBE focuses on the health of your natural hair and scalp. With a proper install and maintenance you will not experience any damage to your hair or scalp.
-
Can I workout with my extensions?Absolutely! For frequent gym-goers, we recommend micro weft extensions as they can be air-dried with less risk of damage compared to hand-tied wefts. We also advise wearing a braid or low ponytail during intense physical activities.
